must not get distracted....oooo tv!

Well here we are once again my fellow peers. Hope everyone is enjoying all the homework we have been assigned in the last couple of days. Keeping on top of it I’m sure. I for one am having quite a difficult time trying not to get distracted and leave the work until the last minute. It's difficult not to get distracted though, especially when the question is too hard for you to answer so you decide to do something else and maybe it will come to you... 2 hours later... Well I think that I’m improving from high school that’s for sure. Except when it comes to the weekends that is... (Up until 7 am at PC Bang on Friday/Saturday, woops!)

So the third week is halfway done and so far things have been pretty good for homework. If you can't get a question on your own someone is there to help out and offer advice. Everyone is getting to know each other a bit better it seems.

Yesterday we did the tensile test for two metals in materials and I don't know about everyone else but I almost fell over the first time it broke because I jumped so badly. I thought that the video on steel making was pretty cool even though it was about 40 years old. Ahh, got to love the ancient, low tech, cheesy music, poor camerawork videos of the 70's.

Well once again; this is the Captain signing off.
Ciao for now,

-Morgan

I never really was into peer help in high school, but I've come to realize now that it is pretty well mandatory, aswell as a big help. Today four of us were working together on a physics question, asking Quincy for help a couple times, and we finally got it. Other than finally getting the right answer, working together on a problem gives you different angles to think from, aswell as getting more comfortable with your class mates.

Oh yeah, he's got a little captain in him.
